These are some new edits of some pictures I took a little over a month ago. For some reason it feels like it has been much longer than that. I’ve been busy! This is my sister-in-law, modeling for me to show off some of the unique locations in downtown Rockford.
It’s pretty cold and snowy right now, but I’m hoping to use some of these locations again in the early spring when we start getting some clear skies and less slush. These are some great spots for senior pictures, don’t you think?

Last Saturday I got to meet up with this good looking family at their home. They seriously have one of the most beautiful yards I have ever seen. It was also one of the clearest days we’ve had in quite a while, so the sunset provided a nice golden glow. The only thing I would have changed was the temperature; it was really, really cold outside! I think my fingers froze off after ten minutes. Is it terrible that we’re only in December and I’m already looking forward to spring? Then again, snow portraits are so pretty…
Kylie’s new fiance also got to hop in for the pics. Aren’t they the cutest couple?

I am late in posting these… a friend of my husband’s asked me if I would help him surprise his wife with portraits of their daughter for her birthday. Of course I said yes! Husbands take note: he arranged the photo shoot, picked out the outfits, snuck the little gal over here while his wife was at work, got in the pictures with Abigail, ordered the photos, picked out frames, and managed to keep the whole thing a secret until his wife’s birthday. Tell me that isn’t love!
