Allie really rocked her senior session! We had a lot of fun during our shoot which took place in downtown Stillman Valley and near her home. Allie really rocked her senior session! We had a lot of fun during our shoot which took place in downtown Stillman Valley and near her home. She was not afraid to do goofy things (like whip that gorgeous hair around) and she brought a ton of clothes, which is awesome because I love the variety and style it brings to her whole gallery. I also loved getting to know Allie a little bit – what a beautiful young woman, inside and out!!

It occurred to me recently that all the seniors I’m photographing this year are exactly 10 years younger than me. They are the class of 2012 and I was in the class of 2002… such a strange thing to think about! I love senior photography – they are my most enthusiastic subjects.

Elsa {Rockford, IL Newborn Photographer}

September 13th, 2011

I was so thrilled to finally get to photograph another newborn girl (after sooo many boys). I made a few new hats and pulled out some girly props for this session – so much fun! Elsa is gorgeous – congratulations Christina & Dayne!

The Roach Family {Rockford, IL – Caledonia, IL Family Photographer}

September 13th, 2011

When Heather first contacted me about photographing her triplets, I was so excited just for the fact that they were triplets. But when I arrived to the shoot and saw how CUTE they were, well, I was over the moon. The two boys are identical… good luck telling them apart!

John & Beth {Rockford, IL Engagement Photographer}

September 1st, 2011

John & Beth are much cooler than me, I have to say. I didn’t even know the Carlyle Brewing Co. existed until I met them and we decided to do part of their engagement session there. It is one of their favorite places (among many) and it provided the perfect backdrop! We walked around Rockford afterward, and [...]

Jacob {Rockford, IL Newborn Photographer}

Kate went to my high school and we were in choir together. That was the last time I saw her, actually, so to see her now with her husband and a beautiful new son, well… there are no words. Jacob is a very special little guy – they drove practically across the country to adopt [...]

Kate went to my high school and we were in choir together. That was the last time I saw her, actually, so to see her now with her husband and a beautiful new son, well… there are no words. Jacob is a very special little guy – they drove practically across the country to adopt him. But all you have to do is see the way they look at him to know he is very loved.
