High winds and clouds threatened to reschedule this session, but fortunately the sun came out and the wind calmed down enough that we were able to capture some capture some really great images. The fall color this weekend was just stunning! My favorite trees are the bright red ones. I wish the color would last longer; it’s so pretty.

I traveled to the Knock Knolls Nature Center for this family’s session. It’s such a nice area; there were a lot of families walking around and enjoying the nice weather. I really enjoyed shooting at the river’s edge and exploring the area. It was also fun to see how much these kids have grown since I saw them last fall! The only part of this shoot that was not fun was when I backed up into a patch of burrs which glued themselves to the back of my leggings! Haha!

Fall is in full swing! I’ve been shooting like crazy and I even had to order another external hard drive last week! This has been such a beautiful fall season and the warmest I remember. There have been years where I had to wear my winter coat and fingerless gloves during my fall sessions, but this week I have been leaving my jacket in the car, and I even more short sleeves for today’s mini sessions, because it was 71 degrees!! I am loving the shots I got from this sweet little family’s mini session the other night. Jessica is such a beautiful mama-to-be and I can’t wait to meet Landyn’s new little brother or sister this spring.
